(Health-NewsWire.Net, February 25, 2015 ) Long Lake, NY -- Cellulite, cottage cheese legs, bumpy, lumpy, and dimpled legs, are all words for one of the most irritating and annoying issues a woman may face when looking in the mirror. Babette LeBlanc, CEO and pharmacist at LeBlanc WellBeing, continues with Part 2 of her series "6 Easy Tips To Combat Cellulite". Part 1 should be read first and can be found here: 6 Easy Tips - Part 1
"Before we continue on let's recap quickly the tips I described in Part 1", stated LeBlanc, "Tip #1 is Drink Lots of Water, Tip #2 is Exercise Regularly, and Tip #3 is Eat More Protein. In my opinion these three are top priority but there are three more very important ones after these. Let's explore those."
Tip #4 - STOP SMOKING - This tip could arguably be #1 because smoking compromises every bodily system. Immune system, cardiac system, respiratory system, and digestive system are but a few, in addition to tissue and skin cells. We understand that the noxious smoke we inhale into our body, through smoking, contains drugs and toxic substances which may lead to cancer. We've known that for decades. Tissue, skin, and organ systems come into play because smoking deprives the blood of much needed, and life giving oxygen. We breathe in carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide when we smoke, the monoxide and dioxide forms of oxygen replace regular oxygen but are actually toxic to cells. Cells deprived of oxygen simply die over time, with smoking being a literal slow poisoning of the body. We all recognize a smoker, they have sallow, discolored skin. Their faces are wrinkly and saggy, and downright unhealthy looking. Cellulite on a smoker is very pronounced and dimply, and efforts to diminish the appearance of cellulite are very near impossible.
