(Health-NewsWire.Net, April 13, 2015 ) Las Vegas, NV -- This week on The Ed Bernstein Show, the new President of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Len Jessup, will be interviewed.
Through his various positions at other college campuses, Mr. Jessup has spent the last few decades proving his ability to be innovative, motivational, and highly effective as a leader. Jessup’s climb up the ladder of success has been an inspiration to everyone around him, specifically young entrepreneurs and those in the field of education. In January of this year, he was named president of UNLV.
This Sunday, our host, Ed Bernstein, will be discussing some of the changes that Mr. Jessup plans to implement while serving in his new position. One of these goals is to help UNLV rise to the Top Tier of American universities.
In addition, they will talk about the UNLV’s School of Medicine, which is currently still being built. The first classes of the new school are expected to start in Fall 2017, with an inaugural class of 60 students.
Nevada is in somewhat of a health crisis, with not enough health care providers to meet the needs of our ever-growing community. Because of this, the students that attend the School of Medicine will be encouraged to stay local, producing 100 new physicians each year for our state.
The new campus is also expected to create eight thousand jobs within the next 15 years.
This impressive establishment is sure to help Jessup achieve his goal of pushing UNLV to the top.
