ChiliPad cooling and heating mattress pad works by having water flow through its soft in-bed silicone tubes from the control unit. Youngblood has been the Chairman of the Board of Specialty Sleep Association (SSA) since August of 2012. Besides holding the top position at SSA, he is also performing duties as the president of T2 International, Chili Technology LLC, ProSource Services International. He is also an advisory board member to White Stagg LLC. He was previously product manager, then sales and marketing manager to American Recreation Products.
According to his LinkedIn account, as product manager of ARP, his "product management responsibilities included new category development, air beds, and camp mats...Established foundation and product line identity to allow further growth to $30,000,000 within 5 years of product line introduction." He also developed embedded pump technology in air beds that increased sales of the company.
Youngblood has a long list of experiences working on sleep products and equipment. His uncle, Charles Hall, invented the water bed. He was his inspiration in coming up with the ChiliPad and founding Chili Technology in 2007 as a subsidiary of T2 International. Together with his wife Tara, Todd was able to perfect the revolution in sleep last year when the ChiliPad Cube or the "new" ChiliPad was released.
