(Health-NewsWire.Net, June 10, 2015 ) Meridian, ID -- Klure Dentistry, a popular office for dentist services in Boise, recently unveiled the new technology they are now using to help treat their patients.
"We are excited to announce that the new technology we are using can considerably boost the ability of Klure Dentistry to treat even the most complicated dental problems," proclaimed Dr. Jack Klure, whose career as a dentist includes a stint as president of the Idaho State Dental Association. "Our computerized imaging equipment, advanced probing cameras, and laser diagnostic tools can help us treat the dental problems of our Boise patients more quickly and effectively than ever before."
Among the most notable new technology now used by Klure Dentistry in Boise is the CEREC dental technology, which now makes it possible to create and install dental crowns in just a single visit to the dentist.
"Before, a prosthodontist needed to take impressions which are then sent to a lab where the crowns are created, and this may take up to three weeks before it can be installed into the patient's mouth," explains Meridian dentist Dr. Klure. "With CEREC, a digital image of the tooth is taken, the crown is designed using computer-aided design or CAD, and the dental crown is created in the office itself."
This eliminates the time needed by a patient to get a permanent replacement for a missing tooth, and it also gives Dr. Klure complete control of the creation of the dental crown.
Digital imaging may also be used to help patients picture the potential results of restorative or cosmetic dentistry services. "In our smile restoration services, we can give our patients a preview of how their smile improves after we are done with our recommended procedures," says Idaho cosmetic dentist Dr. Klure. "This helps patients understand and realize what the cosmetic procedures are for, and gives them something to look forward to."
The digital pictures can also help the periodontist get a better look at the condition of the teeth, gums, and mouth, and they also help the patient understand the problem. The digital photos can also tell the patient what progress the dentist has attained so far in their treatments.
At Klure Dentistry, even the X-rays are digital as well, which requires no processing time so the X-rays are available immediately and the exposure to radiation is reduced. "We even have a new diagnostic tool that emits laser light, and this allows us to detect the tooth decay that lies beneath the enable of the teeth," reveals Dr. Klure. "With it, we can find tooth decay in its earliest stages so we can stop its progress before it does more damage." For further information, contact Klure Dentistry.
