1 Who knew how much fun you could have measuring the temperature of one's hot beverages? "Whoa Alice, your coffee's only 26.2C!". Also, seriously nifty at measuring body temperatures instantly - it feels like something out of Star Trek. Highly cool gadget.
2 I have never liked the traditional mercury thermometer and as I've got older and spectacles have become more expensive I've had difficulty reading them. This is the answer, simple to use and unerringly accurate, you can also point it at a vat of hot oil to remind you not to jump in. There is a bonus, point it at the cat and you can see if it's warm enough to rest your feet on, I just love this techno thermometer.
3 Arrived very quickly and well packed. I found it very easy to use lightweight and very comfortable to hold. With good easy instructions to follow. It has many uses for me as well as being able to check our temperatures I was able to check the temperature of cooking/cooked meats on BBQ`S, wow that was a really useful bonus. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family.
4 We have just bought a TempIR thermometer and the kids love it. We've used to see when food or hot drinks have cooled down enough, room temperature, everyone who walks in the door and even on the dog (on his tummy where there isn't much hair!) Our old in ear thermometer used to give wildly variable readings, but this one is much more accurate.
5 This a is wonderful product, is very accurate and all important, you can turn the beep off to check little ones' temperatures at night. You do need to read the instructions and make sure you are the right distance from the temple otherwise everyone will have a temperature! My 5 year old loved checking all our temperatures and the temperature of my tea, her baby sister's legs, her bath, our dinner etc. As there is no contact there is no mess and is very hygienic. Really easy to use. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a product that works, is accurate, easy to use and will last. Worth every penny.
6 Tried on my morning coffee, on my radiator and on umpteen people and children (the reason it was bought). Compared to an in ear one it is accurate, quicker and no risk of cross contamination.
7 I even tried it on the baby milk to check its temperature.
8 I think this has many great uses like reading bath temp, room temp ... and jam temp if you're into that sort of thing, my husband gave me a 'Don't you dare' stare when I suggested it but I don't see why not! Altogether very happy with the product and would highly recommend.
