(Health-NewsWire.Net, July 10, 2015 ) Blackpool, Lancashire -- Honey & Willow has just introduced their latest product to USA. Happy Hands Silicone oven/grill/BBQ Gloves are designed to be both practical and safe and are designed to be loose fitting, so they can be easily slipped on or off quickly.
With a protective layer of Nomex and Kevlar and a coating of silicone they promise to keep hands safe from burns. They also have extra long cuffs to protect wrists and forearms.
Unlike traditional oven mitts, they have fingers which can help with gripping things. The can be used to open tight jars or bottles or change hot light bulbs and are designed to be safer when grilling food on a barbeque and will protect hands and wrists if they go into naked flames.

"This is an excellent pair of oven gloves, which the manufacturer claims can withstand temperatures of up to 662 degrees F/350 degrees C. They have a soft and comfortable, 100% cotton inner layer, with a thick, heat resistant outer layer, which is made from a combination of Kevlar and Nomex. There are multiple silicone strips on both sides of each glove, together with the manufacturer's logo Happy Hands and their chef symbol, which are also made of silicone. The gloves extend well beyond the wrist, reaching up more than halfway towards the elbow. Unfortunately, I acquired these gloves about a month too late, having sustained a 1 inch long oven burn about 3 inches away from my wrist, which I'd have avoided if I was wearing these gloves. Each glove can be worn on either hand. Both gloves have material hanging loops for easy storage from a hook in the kitchen.
Aesthetically, they do look rather like a pair of goalkeeper's gloves, but they're functional and effective. If I've had a pizza in the oven for 15 minutes, or a joint of meat roasting for 90 minutes, and use these gloves to lift the pizza tray or roasting tin out of the oven, there's no discomfort. Personally, I much prefer two separate oven gloves, rather than the oven gloves which are joined together, because I think that separate gloves give you much more flexibility of movement, and they let you get a safer grip on hot items coming out of the oven.
You can also use these oven gloves for barbecues and grills, handling hot appliances, for cooking whilst camping or caravaning, and for handling saucepans with non heat resistant handles and casserole dishes, etc. Highly recommended."
