That desire led to the establishment of the Little Snuggle Bug Company, which will be launching its first product, a swaddle blanket, in the near future.
Cindy says the unisex yellow star patterned blanket will measure 3' x 3', thereby giving mothers plenty of material to swaddle their child, use the blanket as a car seat cover, or make use of the cover for tummy time.
She says the swaddling and receiving blanket is made of muslin, which is breathable and does not overheat as a flannel blanket will. Cindy adds that babies love the softness of the material. Therefore, she is looking forward to the future launch of the product on the Amazon.com website.
One of the primary uses of the blanket will be for swaddling. Swaddling, an ancient practice, has been found to reduce the incidents of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and shaking baby syndrome (SBS). Because the infant is swaddled securely in the material, he or she is less apt succumb to such conditions as colic. Colic, which is excessive crying, is sometimes noted in otherwise healthy infants.
