(Health-NewsWire.Net, July 18, 2015 ) Los Angeles, California -- For individuals who are not used to living a physically active lifestyle and not into a workout program, increasing physical activity would do them good says Trained Sports CEO Chris Moal. Trained Sports is the sports tool distributor of their Resistance Bands on Amazon.
According to the CEO, aerobic activities are beneficial for anyone. These activities are proven to help the body boost immunity against diseases and reduce the risk of having lifestyle related diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. Cardiovascular activities are those activities that make the heart beat faster. Moal adds that brisk walking for at least 15 minutes every day has a lot of benefits for people of all ages.
But then most people wonder about the best amount of exercise for them. According to Moal, the recommended amount of moderately intense physical activities for adult men and women is two and a half hours per week. On the other hand, highly intense aerobic exercises must be done for a minimum of 1 hour and 15 minutes per week. In order to minimize the risk of suffering exercise-related injuries, these activities can be divided into the different days of the week.
Moal says that moderate and high intensity activities can also be combined. Say a person performs highly intense workouts today then performs moderately intense activities the following day. The activities can also be divided into shorter workouts to be done throughout the day. Healthy adults should also perform muscle-strengthening training for a minimum of two times each week, Moal says. Kids are suggested to be given an least one hour of free play every day.
