They've been getting a bit of flak from users who found their products too large or too small. This led them to consider producing different sizes and the outcome isn't too bad at all.
"It's great, actually. We just expected to rectify the issues with old customers but we actually experienced a bump in sales since we released new sizes," a Wuju representative said. "We think the size options drew more customers who are very particular with their ankle or knee braces. Aside from that, we have received emails from customers who were very mad but now were very happy with the product. It's very satisfying and it's really great when our hard work and dedication pays off."
At first, they sold their products as one-size-fits-all. They said that they did several tests with people with different body types and they didn't find any problems. "We think it's a matter of preference. What someone think is comfortable might be too tight for another, and what other thinks as compressed enough might be too loose for someone," the rep said. "But we still think that our Medium variant can fit almost anyone up to a certain size."
"This is a great learning experience for us and if we release other products in the future, we can take the experience we have with this and we can make better product decisions. Learning what our customers want versus what we find out in our tests is interesting and provides us with better insights."
The representative also said that they would mostly release new product updates via their social media accounts on Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook.
