This contoured mask is black in colour and has the concise yet striking blue branding neatly positioned to one corner. The contour of the mask maintains its shape, through the material core, which allows movement and hugs the face shape throughout its use.
The producers have focused on the user issues in their research, and identified that there are too many poorly shaped products on the market, which may not hold their shape or that have no shape at all. This has driven the research toward a shaped product with pockets for the eyes to comfortably sit, without pressing on the eyelid and lashes.
The shape of the mask is generous around the eyes allowing flexibility for the user as well as added area to black out unwanted side spill of light. The contoured mask has thinner edges making them more flexible and figure hugging against the face. This makes the product available to more user types, men and women of different shape, size and age.
The slender nose peak gives a set position from which the mask can be adjusted to optimum position on the users face. Some masks reviewed have had shapeless or small peaks, which can result in excess light spill around the mask.
