According to PrimeEffects, the Sweet Dreams Sleep Mask had reached nearly 2,000 positive reviews on Amazon, but during the feedback and evaluation process certain areas were identified for improvement. Those areas have been addressed with an upgraded model, which has been re-branded as the Amazing Sleep Mask and is marked down for a limited time.
"People loved the original," says PrimeEffects CEO, Philip Jepsen. "As with anything, however, you look for ways to make it better. That's what we've done; we've listened to customer feedback, and we've made those improvements."
One of the key areas of requests was the strap. The original mask used Velcro, which gave a wide range of adjustability, but in some cases the Velcro hooks would get caught on the hair. In response to those requests the Amazing Sleep Mask now uses a slider, which does not catch on hair, and, as it turns out, provided and even greater range of adjustability. The new mask now fits a range of head sizes from small child to Double-XL adult.
"In working on the improvements we actually got even more than we planned," says Mr. Jepsen. "For example, the updated mask covers more area, thus blocking more light, but the overall weight is lighter." The Amazing Sleep Mask is constructed with a lightweight, breathable material that will not smudge makeup. It also includes a set of ear plugs that store on the strap, which can be used to reduce the distraction of external sound when using the mask to rest in an active or noisy environment.
