(Health-NewsWire.Net, August 31, 2015 ) Blythewood, SC -- With the success of their new sunglass company, Eye Love LLC, Doctors Jenna and Travis Zigler are excited to announce that Advanced Family Eye Care is now open and accepting new patients in both the Blythewood and Camden optometric offices. The doctors have recently seen much success in sales of sunglasses from Eye Love, and they are excited to be able to bring comprehensive eye exams into the mix.
Dr. Travis Zigler graduated in 2010 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry with Magna Cum Laude honors. Dr. Travis is a member of the American Optometric Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Travis specializes in "difficult to fit" contact lenses for patients with astigmatism, patients that need bifocals, keratoconus, and dry eye. Dr. Travis is a fellow of the Scleral Lens Society, which is given to eye care physicians that have demonstrated excellence in scleral lens fitting.
Dr. Jenna Zigler graduated in 2011 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry second in her class with Summa Cum Laude honors. She did her undergraduate studies in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science at University of Michigan. Dr. Jenna has most recently served as trustee of the Central Ohio Optometric Association. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association.
The Drs. Zigler have has been actively involved with Volunteers for Optometric Services to Humanity, which is a group that travels worldwide to give eye examinations to people who cannot afford nor obtain such care. They have made trips to Ecuador, Peru, and Jamaica twice, and have plans to participate in future missions. Their new e-commerce business, Eye Love LLC, uses profits from the sale of sunglasses to fund their eye care missions.
