Today, 10th September is the 2015 World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD), an initiative of the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) and the WHO, a co-sponsor of meetings and events related to WSPD 2015.
Their public relations officer stated that this initiative is a part of Run Baby's corporate social responsibility programs. Derek O'Brien stated that, "Suicide is a real tragedy, and represents a complete breakdown of a human system. We deeply admire the work carried out by the International Association for Suicide Prevention, and welcome this opportunity to support them. " They chose to support the suicide prevention cause because for them, suicide is a very serious topic, and among other things can result from difficulties in dealing with emotions, handling stress and frequently suffering from a depressed state of mind.
