A representative of Miami Drug Rehab commented,
"The increased use of heroin and fentanyl in Okaloosa County is yet one more unfortunate side effect of the substance abuse epidemic encompassing the country. Multiple factors contribute to the abuse of drugs and alcohol in the U.S., but prevention and rehabilitation are the only paths to recovery- both on the individual and national level. Though Miami Drug Rehab is a drug treatment facility in Miami, this problem afflicting the entire country requires a community effort and understanding to overcome."
