(Health-NewsWire.Net, November 23, 2015 ) Foley, Alabama -- On the 16th of November 2015, the organizers of Green Festivals have announced that the event will be held in Portland this holiday season. This is the 14th annual celebration of the Green Festival Expo and its first time to take place at the Oregon Convention Center on December 11 to 13, 2015. The three-day expo will feature speakers and more than 250 exhibitors, partners and sponsors. Its main objective is to provide social awareness about sustainable life, prepping and healthy lifestyle.

The Green Festival Expo will also be launching new sustainable brands from body care, fashion, home and gardening, food banks and alternative energy. In addition, there will also be free yoga seminars that will be conducted by Nia Technique in the Yoga Pavilion, while cooking demos, group classes and small businesses activities will be carried out at the Green Festival Stage and Lifestyle Pavilion.
Green Festival Portland will be featuring green business entrepreneurs and community leaders such as Peter Spendelow, the former president of Northwest VEG. Spendelow will be discussing topics about the ways individuals can reduce ecological damage. There are other groups in the US such as Victory Gardens that also promotes food banks and sustainable lifestyle.
Other speakers will include Amy Pearl of Hatch Innovation, Celia Mueller of Progressive Asset Management, Collete Percell of Salute to Your Health, Eric Corey Freed of International Living Future Institute, Sarah Red of Bee Girl, Amy Van Saun of Center for Food Safety, Corbin Lichtinger of Food Corps and Connie Shaw of Oregon Brineworks.
