(Health-NewsWire.Net, November 27, 2015 ) Bedford, Bedfordshire -- The 32oz Fruit Infuser Water Bottle by Refill-Life was launched less than four months ago, but it has earned encouraging reactions from its customers on Amazon.com. Hannah Webber, spokesperson for Refill-Life stated "we made sure that Refill-Life addressed concerns that consumers raised against other manufacturers before we entered the market for fruit infuser water bottles."
Before launching, Refill-Life conducted market research, which included testing competitor infusion water bottles, and in doing so revealed some interesting results.
A common frustration for consumers was that screw-fit caps on these bottles were designed awkwardly and made drinking on-the-go difficult. Consumers were also irritated by false advertising claims regarding water capacity. The volume for water is diminished once the infuser is filled with fresh ingredients, which can be a considerable impact for bottles of smaller sizes. Another pain revealed by consumers regarded the slow pouring rate from the lids of the bottles, as well as seeds that can travel through the infuser and directly into the drinking water.
Addressing these issues, Webber commented Refill Life's infusion bottle has a lid that can be flipped using an easy button release mechanism for quick access. The lid also contains a large drinking spout for a natural and unrestricted flow of water, and each bottle includes two muslin bags (100 percent cotton) which can be used to strain leaves, seeds and fruit that's sediment might otherwise struggle to be contained by the infuser basket alone. Finally, the bottle's empty water capacity of 32 ounces means that when full, the water capacity is limited to 28oz. As Webber explained, this means "more drinking and less filling up," and she also highlighted these capacities are clearly stated in all advertising claims.
Although a less frequent complaint from customers, inserting a full infuser basket back into the bottle can cause spillages from the displaced water that rises. Webber explained that Refill-Life incorporates a "Fill Line" into their logo which serves as a guideline for customers to fill their bottle before inserting full infuser baskets. The final common complaint revealed about competitor infusion water bottles regarded water that tasted bland after infusing. Here Webber emphasized the need for proper education of customers. "We learned that instructions about using the bottles were often only accessible from websites, and that as a result most consumers simply weren't prepared to go to the hassle of downloading them," she stated. "We saw the need to ensure every customer gets the most from their new bottle, and therefore decided to include a quick start guide with every pack. This is designed to help instruct beginners through their first infusion, whilst including some useful pointers for more experienced customers."
The Fruit Infuser Water Bottle is available on Refill-Life's product store on Amazon marketplace.
