(Health-NewsWire.Net, December 03, 2015 ) LD Armstrong -- Florida, USA December 1, 2015 The question is being asked now-a-days by more and more parents, "Can the music my children listen to and the programs my children watch, affect how they act and conduct themselves at home and at school? Can music really affect a young person to the extent that they end up committing rape, murder or suicide? Can it be that what I allow my child to be exposed to in the realms of music will really make a big difference in their life?"
Many musicians and the Recording Industry Association of America claim quite strongly that music does not have that kind of influence. On the other hand, the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) and a growing number of parents, learning from their own mistakes, are stating that music INDEED CAN GREATLY AFFECT CHILDREN AND THEIR CONDUCT! They have seen the affects first hand.
For the last ten years, a Florida non-profit corporation has conducted their own tests right in the field, to determine as much as possible some answers to this major question. The company, Time Travel Tunes, Inc. has sponsored a not-for-profit musical show team consisting of more than 135 people, who have been very carefully picking the songs that they perform in live shows at auditoriums around the state of Florida. Their music has come from the 1950s through the 1990s, but has consisted only of music that is non-violent and non-vulgar, such as a lot of golden oldies, and also songs by people whose music is generally non-violent and moral in nature (such as Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Michael Buble', George Strait, Patsy Cline, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Connie Francis, Garth Brooks, The Judds, Elvis, The Supremes, the Beach Boys, Brenda Lee, Barbra Streisand, Dion and the Belmonts, Herb Alpert, Glenn Miller, and many others).
The music group sponsored by Time Travel Tunes, Inc. is called 24K Gold Music Shows. That show team has been performing 100s of shows for the past decade, and every show has been recorded (though they have discontinued performances since last year). They have created a number of sites wherein their music may be viewed for free by anyone interested. In order to view a lot of those recordings via the internet, one may search for 24K Gold Music Shows on You Tube (they have several channels and at this time there are mostly free of advertising). Some will also find their web sites and the songs presented on those of interest. The urls for those sites are www.C24K.com, and also www.Inspire4.com.
There is also one other source for viewing some of the music from the shows, and that is on the band's Facebook account, which is also named for 24K Gold Music Shows.
24K Gold Music Shows have come to the definite conclusion that the children and young people who have been attending the shows have of a certainty been positively influenced by the music, and when compared to children listening to and viewing much of what is made public in our times, there is a great contrast in their attitudes and character. Their school teachers will generally even vouch for that! Check out the family-friendly music at www.C24K.com and www.Inspire4.com, or tune in to one of the half-dozen channels on YouTube or Facebook.
