With the FDA banning a range of drugs to be sold over the counter, these companies are moving online to make their sales. Many companies still sell genuine products with different brand names and a lot of them are shipped to the United States from neighboring countries, far and near.

While the FDA hoped that these products will finally fade away, the opposite has occurred. Amazingly, with the competition from over the counter products gone, people have little to no option but to buy online. Most online vendors are taking this opportunity to the next level by pushing their illegal products online.
The online sale of HCG has increased over 30% in 2014. Phentermine and other products too are seeing a significant rise. With irresponsible promotions by celebrities like Kim Kardashian and even Dr. Oz there seems to be a never ending queue of people wanting to try the next big drug online which can help them lose weight.
The FDA cannot be held responsible to what people use but can only set guidelines. Awareness of the product purchased by customers are limited and most people purchasing illegal products are desperate and under aged. FDA also states that the diet program recommended by most of the vendors is dangerous and could lead to health problems in the future.
