(Health-NewsWire.Net, December 24, 2015 ) New Lenox, Il - Trigeminal Neuralgia is one of the most painful health conditions in the world.
Trigeminal Neuralgia is a disorder of the 5th cranial nerve. Trigeminal Neuralgia causes sudden shock-like facial pains, typically near the nose, lips, eyes or ears. It is said to be the most excruciatingly painful human condition in the world. Trigeminal Neuralgia origin is unknown, but it is often attributed to abnormal blood vessels that compress the nerve, multiple sclerosis, or tumors.
However there is some good news. A company called Miracle Alternatives, LC sells a "pulsed electro magnetic field) (PEMF) machine that can treat Trigeminal Neuralgia with excellent success.
The machine that can treat Trigeminal Neuralgia is called the ORIN PEMF Machines. ORIN offer 4 different models. All 4 can treat this health problem. However the ORIN UltiCare LT99 is recommended. It offers the best results.
Trigeminal Nerve Explained:
We recommend UltiCare LT99 by neuralgia (pain) of the triggering nerve. The pulse magnetic field of the device has analgesic (against pain), anti-inflammatory effects, speeds up the process of healing and alleviates the swelling. Symptoms recurrent short episodes of sharp, shooting pain similar like when got hit by electricity in one half of the face dull or burning pain in the affected area between the episodes Risk groups
Neuralgia (pain) of the triggering nerve can occur at any age, but it usually affects people after the age of forty and the frequency of occurrence grows with age. It is more common in females than in males. Patients with multiple sclerosis are at the highest risk of the triggering neuralgia.
Course
Neuralgia of the triggering nerve comes directly out of the triggering nerve, the fifth cranial nerve. Sometimes it΄s induced by pressure of a tumor or a dilated blood vessel directly on the nerve, but the cause is unknown in most of the cases.
Regardless of the cause, patients describe the pain of the triggering nerve as the worst they have ever experienced. The pain strikes suddenly and lasts for several seconds, sometimes even a minute. However, intensity of the pain is so paralyzing that it seems like it lasts much longer. The pain disappears suddenly but recurs with the same intensity in a while.
Patients usually lose weight due to their fear of chewing or even swallowing. The fits can stop all of a sudden, the break sometimes lasts for several weeks, months or even years, but the pain recurs inevitably. The fit can be induced by ordinary activities. It΄s usually triggered by a touch of a certain spot of the face, catching a cold, draught or even shaving or eating.
What to do
Try to find out the factors which induce the disorder and, if possible, try to avoid them. Many patients are sensitive to the cold stay at home when it΄s cold outside, however, if you have to go out, dress warm. If the pain occurs by eating, try to drink energy drinks. Some patients use capsaicin ointment successfully, but it makes the pain worse in others. Be careful when applying around eyes.
Treatment
Anti-epileptic drugs only help temporarily and doctor often only try which one could work in the particular case. Carbamazepine (Biston, Tegretol) is usually prescribed first, and it eliminates fits in about 80% of the cases. However, if the disorder progresses, they΄re losing efficacy. If these drugs are administered together with baclofen or other substances, they are effective. Doctors also try other combinations and therapies which bring relief.
Surgery
If drugs won΄t help, a surgery can be done. Microvascular decompression is the most successful one at present. By this surgery, the skull is opened by a small cut on the affected side, right behind the ear. The neurosurgeon finds the spot where the nerve is coming out of the brain stem. Here he finds the artery which is touching the nerve. He moves it a little and puts a piece of Teflon there which prevents the artery from touching the nerve directly.
Another approach includes blocking most functions of the triggering nerve. A needle is inserted into the triggering ganglion (Gasserian ganglion) through the face, where this nerve is divided into three branches. Then the ganglions disrupted with electric current or an injection. The objective of this surgery is to block the pain transport. However, the result is often only temporary and problems recur after some time. But the relief, which lasts several months, is welcome by many suffering patients.
Thermocoagulation of the ganglion is a surgery by which a part of the nerve is destroyed to cut off the pain signals. It results in a perceptiveness disorder in the affected part of the face but without paralysis.
All 4 ORIN . ORINPEMFMachines are so technologically advanced, so versatile, and so powerful in that they can treat, prevent, and many times cure hundreds of other unwanted health conditions.
